Get Energized: Heart, Health, Home

☐ Don’t over sleep.
☐ Don’t stay up late.
☐ Daily quiet time.
☐ Intentional exercise.
☐ Choose healthy.
☐ Don’t let daily chores go undone.
☐ Declutter.
☐ But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the LORD gave you: to love the LORD your God, to walk in obedience to him, to keep his commands, to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.” Joshua 22:5

I dislike having to get up in the morning. Really, you have no idea. I am NOT a morning person. However, when I do get up early, I feel so much better, not to mention I get more done. So I thought this was a good thing to put on list. I really am happier when I don’t sleep in. This goes hand in hand with staying up late. Staying up late equals not wanting to get out of bed in the morning. Therefore, I’m going to try super hard not to stay up late.

I always notice a huge difference in my attitude and energy level when I miss my quite time. And when you miss one day, it’s easy to miss 2 and 3 and you know how it goes. So in light of this, daily quite time is surely to make me happier, to bring me joy.

Exercise and eating healthy is also an obvious way to boost your energy and attitude.

I can’t stand it when I have a chore to do that should have been done the day before. It adds more for that day and I don’t like it. It doesn’t start my day out right. If I get my things done when I should…obvious happiness.

Okay, so I know declutter is not a word. I don’t care, I like it and I am choosing to use it anyway. When I look around my house and see clutter it makes me feel less than happy. Actually, it’s overwhelming and annoying. Decluttering will definitely lift my spirits.

Above all, if I choose daily to love the Lord, to obey and serve Him with all my heart, I am sure to find pure joy.

The month of September I want to get energized. My goal is that by the end of the month, I am doing each of these things on a daily basis and that I will have made a habit of it, that will continue beyond this project.

Thanks for sharing this journey with me.

My theme song for this month to help me get energized is Mercy Me “Move”.
